5 Lions slots compared: six Pragmatic Play versions, all at 96.50% RTP, and how the free spins choice works
Short answer — All six 5 Lions slots on Pragmatic Play’s official site list the same RTP, 96.50%. What changes is the bonus. Most of them let you choose your free spins: a menu of seven options trades more spins against bigger wild multipliers, up to 25 spins or up to 40x. 5 Lions Megaways 2 makes the trade explicit: 5 spins with 20x–100x wilds, or 25 spins with 2x–8x wilds. It is the only page with a stated cap, 8,000x. 5 Lions Dance has no menu, and 5 Lions Reborn uses a wild multiplier that grows. We read all six pages on 19 October 2026.

Spins or multipliers: what you are choosing
More spins give you more chances for a win, but each win gets a smaller multiplier. Fewer spins with bigger multipliers concentrate everything into a handful of spins. As an illustrative example of our own, using a ₱50 base win: with the Megaways 2 “5 spins” option, one such win on a 20x–100x wild pays ₱1,000 to ₱5,000. With the “25 spins” option, the same win on a 2x–8x wild pays ₱100 to ₱400, but you have five times as many spins to land wins. The pages publish one RTP per game, not per option, so the choice mainly changes how the round is likely to feel.
What makes each version different
- 5 Lions: base-game wins with a lion wild get a random multiplier of up to 40x. In free spins, an extra row of three symbols raises the lines to 576.
- 5 Lions Megaways: the same seven-option menu on Megaways reels, with base-game wilds of 1x–40x.
- 5 Lions Gold: adds Golden Reels jackpots of up to 2,000x. In free spins, 3–5 reels turning gold award the minor, major or grand jackpot.
- 5 Lions Dance: 1024 ways. Reels 1 and 2 can merge into a multiplier reel, and in free spins lion heads turn into another lion symbol and pay again.
- 5 Lions Reborn: up to 20 spins with up to a 15x starting wild. Each win with a wild raises the multiplier by its starting value, and Super Free Spins begin at the maximum 20 spins and 15x.
- 5 Lions Megaways 2: wild multipliers up to 100x, a stated cap raised “from 5,000x to 8,000x”, and Super Free Spins with Level Up coins that remove the lowest multiplier.

At 96.50%, every version has an expected long-run cost of ₱350 per ₱10,000 of total bets, by our calculation. On a ₱10 bet, Megaways 2’s stated 8,000x cap is ₱80,000. Which version you pick changes the swings, not the long-run cost.

- If you like to decide your own risk, pick a version with the seven-option menu.
- For a growing multiplier through the round, choose 5 Lions Reborn.
- For extra jackpots, choose 5 Lions Gold.
- Check the RTP in the game’s information screen at your platform.
